"Serve To Lead" - Nurturing Mutually Beneficial Relationships | October 5, 2019 - James St

Today, he is an award-winning author and speaker on leadership, having studied and written books about Theodore Roosevelt, "Disrupt Politics, Theodore Roosevelt on Leadership" and Ronald Reagan, entitled, "Reagan on Leadership."

His newest book, "Serve to Lead 2.0: 21st Century Leaders Manual" - "What is emerging, in real-time, is the tightening nexus between ethical, other directed conduct and value creation. in our ever more interconnected moment, sustainable value creation does not come from 'winning' transactions as much as nurturing mutually beneficial relationships."

Our guest was California's Founding Secretary for Environmental Protection, appointed by Governor Pete Wilson, and subsequently served as special assistant to U.S. EPA Administrator William Ruckelshaus and special counsel to the U.S. Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works and followed that by serving in the Reagan and George H.W. Bush administration as Assistant Administrator for Enforcement, at the E.P.A. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and trustee of the Theodore Roosevelt Association.
